Dia dhuit, Dear Readers!

Welcome to another edition of the Caledon Zephyr!

This week's main story is all about the Royal Caledon Air Force--what's happening currently as it reforms and also a look back at it's history. After you've read the story, try your hand at the RCAF Crossword Puzzle! No Personality profile this week (yours truly has had an awful time of finding people willing to talk about themselves recently!)--but I hope to have two in the next edition! Oxbridge Occurrences, Upcoming Activities and Events, and our Classifieds round out our regular sections.

I especially want to encourage those with memories of the RCAF to share stories and photos on our blog in the comments section of the story.

Our mailbox and back issues of the Zephyr can be found at our current office in PenzanceTown.

We'll also post articles and updates on our blog, http://caledonzephyr.blogspot.com/ . Comments and replies can be posted to individual stories on the blog. However, the comments are moderated to keep out unwanted spam. Relevant comments will be cleared for posting as soon as possible by myself or other editors as they come on board.

We have an ongoing CfP (Call for Participants)--if you'd like to be a section editor or contributor, just send me a notecard in-world or email faerieontheaetherwaves@gmail.com so that you can be added to our staff group and blog.

Dia dhuit, Dear Readers!

Welcome to another edition of the Caledon Zephyr!

Apologies for the lack of a paper last week. Due to real life time constraints, the Zephyr will be going to a bi-weekly format. Once we get more contributors and content, I'd love to get it back to weekly.

This week, we'll spend some time in a charming little university town, Oxbridge Village in "A Visit to the Village." Don't miss the Oxbridge Village crossword puzzle and challenge your knowledge of the sim, then and now! We'll also check in with the focus of this week's Personality, the ever-charming Miss Patty Poppy.

Ever wonder about all those bunnehs and other nefarious NPCs at the Iron Cloud? Duke Wrath explains their roles in "NPCs are People, Too: The Cute but Deadly Crimson Pirate Staff."

Finally, our regular Oxbridge Occurrences, Events and Activities, and Classifieds round out this edition.

Keep an eye out for our future issues where we'll visit the Moors in all it's elegant and gloomy goodness. We'll also be peering back at some of the amazing battles and stories of the Royal Caledon Air Force just in time for their latest recruiting efforts!

Our mailbox and back issues of the Zephyr can be found at our current office in PenzanceTown.

Dia dhuit, Dear Readers! Thank you for taking the time to join us for our weekly collection of stories and activities surrounding the grand nation of Caledon!
This week, we venture off-world to check on our nation's colonies, Caledonia and Cubidon. We also have a fun supplemental crossword puzzle to test your trivia knowledge about this aspect of Caledon history. Next, we'll check in with this week's Personality of the Week, OnSea's well-known hostess and designer, Nyree Rain. Finally, we'll shift focus to Oxbridge to see what occurrences have happened there recently. Remember to check out the Events section to see what is happening across Caledon this week!

Our mailbox and back issues of the Zephyr can be found at our current office in PenzanceTown.

From the Editor's Desk, 2015.1.4

Welcome to the first edition of the new Caledon Zephyr! We are but a small operation, calling Caledon PenzanceTown in Caledon Pensans our home.

In this first edition, we'll play in the snow for "Caledon in Winter," suggesting locations to visit one last time before the ice melts. We'll also open up the boards on the blog for those of you who want to share your hopes and plans for the new year for "Steaming Ahead: 2015."  Next, we'll check in with our first "Personality of the Week," Miss Spinnie (spinweaver.radmussen). In "Oxbridge Occurrences," we visit the latest happenings in and around Oxbridge University. Finally, on a more somber note, we feature a memorial to two Caledonians, Mr. Alastair Whybrow and Miss Valerie Bluebird.

In future editions, I hope that those who are involved in role play within Caledon will use the newsletter to further their storylines by writing articles about their events and activities. Caledonian business and group leaders who want their activities and events listed in our weekly events and/or classified sections only need to drop a notecard to me with the details. Our mailbox and back issues of the Zephyr can be found at our current office in PenzanceTown.
