From the Editor's Desk, 2015.1.4

Welcome to the first edition of the new Caledon Zephyr! We are but a small operation, calling Caledon PenzanceTown in Caledon Pensans our home.

In this first edition, we'll play in the snow for "Caledon in Winter," suggesting locations to visit one last time before the ice melts. We'll also open up the boards on the blog for those of you who want to share your hopes and plans for the new year for "Steaming Ahead: 2015."  Next, we'll check in with our first "Personality of the Week," Miss Spinnie (spinweaver.radmussen). In "Oxbridge Occurrences," we visit the latest happenings in and around Oxbridge University. Finally, on a more somber note, we feature a memorial to two Caledonians, Mr. Alastair Whybrow and Miss Valerie Bluebird.

In future editions, I hope that those who are involved in role play within Caledon will use the newsletter to further their storylines by writing articles about their events and activities. Caledonian business and group leaders who want their activities and events listed in our weekly events and/or classified sections only need to drop a notecard to me with the details. Our mailbox and back issues of the Zephyr can be found at our current office in PenzanceTown.

We'll also post articles and updates on our blog, http://caledonzephyr.blogspot.com/ . Comments and replies can be posted to individual stories on the blog. However, the comments are moderated to keep out unwanted spam. Relevant comments will be cleared for posting as soon as possible by myself or other editors as they come on board.

We have an ongoing CfP (Call for Participants)--if you'd like to be a section editor or contributor, just send me a notecard in-world or email faerieontheaetherwaves@gmail.com so that you can be added to our staff group and blog.

Cheers and Brightest Blessings throughout the New Year!
