Personality of the Week, Spinweaver Radmussen, 2015.1.4

This week, we catch up with Spinweaver Radmussen, who prefers friends to call her Spin or Spinnie. Miss Spin found her way to Caledon by way of the Blue Mermaid around five years ago. That Wednesday night found her "charmed and fascinated by what I found there, and [I] have resided in Caledon ever since." She graciously provided a photo she took of herself in her first Caledon backyard.

Nowadays, she is often seen as a petite fairy, perhaps in keeping with the "low profile" she says she tries to maintain.

Currently, Miss Spin resides in Caledon Stormhold, but holds fond memories of the other areas of Caledon in which she resided in the past. (She adds, "most of which, sadly, no longer exist.") One of these was Glengarry, where she built the home she resided in there.

One of the original members of the Black Moon Marauders, Miss Spin also prides herself on being a long-time member of the Children of Llyr. She enjoys the social dancing in Llyr, the Mermaid, and other locations and can often be found at these events.

Having a curious nature, Miss Spin has studied a variety of subjects at Oxbridge University and Builder's Brewery. She says she "can do a little bit of a lot of things, but I'm not an expert by any means." (Some might counter that Miss Spin is too modest in her abilities, as it takes skills to build your own home!) Her efforts at the creative process have yielded Miss Spin, not only buildings, but some humorous moments as well. "I am eternally grateful," she says, "for the fact that despite the number of large prims I have accidentally dropped from 600M, I have never (to my knowledge at least), killed or injured anyone."

When asked if she had a favorite memory about Caledon to share, Miss Spin said that she had no one particular memory, "just a great respect for this community in which the citizens are, for the most part, kind and courteous, creative and witty and very much worth knowing."

This reporter thinks that Miss Spin is very much worth knowing, herself, but I will make sure I watch for incoming prims from the sky when visiting Stormhold.
